The MatPLC is written in the C language, so any new functionality will first be available in C. Also, when we add a new language, it will usually only cover the most basic functionality at first. For this reason, you should also skim the native C section, so that you're aware of the functionality that's possible with the MatPLC.
If there's a function described there that you wish to use from one of these languages, and it's not available, please file a bug report or ask on the mailing list - it's usually a very simple matter to add a single function or group of functions to the existing interfaces.
