This scenario is similar to the Operator Station scenario, except that instead of interacting with the operator directly, it does so through a web server. The operator then connects using any ordinary web browser.
While this is not really suitable for control, it is ideal for monitoring and reporting that is to be accessible throughout the corporate LAN.
The MatPLC interfaces with the Zope application server environment using the python language interface; it can also log data to MySQL database, the "M" in "LAMP", which can then be summarised on the web in the normal way.
